OXYGEN GENERATOR

While oxygen concentrators and oxygen generators use similar technology, their difference is about scale. Oxygen concentrators are designed to produce anywhere from CCs of Oxygen per minute up to 10 Liters of Oxygen per minute. When using a concentrator an extra Oxygen source is needed to provide approx. 50 psi of O2, which is needed to use the O2 flush valve properly on one’s anesthesia machine. Oxygen generators produce 11liters of Oxygen per minute up to 100 or more liters per minute. Many generators can offer the approx. 50 psi, which stated earlier is needed for using your O2 flush valve properly on an anesthesia machine.
