I am a client still and have gotten several other practices I interact with to become customers as well. There aren't many other vendors that I have used over the last 35 years that I can say that about. "WHY" you ask? Very simple answer, Eagle Eye has mastered the difficult balance between customer service and technical skill.
I cannot comment on the small animal rebreathing circuit they manufacture; I am an equine exclusive practitioner but two local hospital do have them and they are very satisfied after 10+ years. The machines I purchased were refurbished LA circuits. (one Draeger and one VML) and both were in excellent condition. One is still in use despite the fact it is 20 years old. It is kept fully operational by EE's regular maintenance plan done in my hospital despite the fact I am in central NY and they are in Florida. I highly recommend this service in all hospitals. The most significant thing that separates EEA from the other vendors i use is that they truly do care about my practice and don't look at us like a deposit slip waiting to happen. This is a culture for them. In addition to my USA practice I am active in humanitarian projects in South and Central America. With the help of EEA we have been able to source several rebreathing circuits and vaporizer and now have a teaching hospital in Nicaragua for the training of both US and local students. EEA was excited to help, They refurbished several machines, inventoried our supplies so that we had "everything we needed". This is essential as in country sourcing is impossible (once spent several hours trying to find a correct diameter metric screw) so without "right out of the box" we could not have proceeded. To reiterate Eagle Eye Anesthesia is without equal. I have used several models of different anesthesia machine over the past twenty eight years. Many had cheap plastic parts which cracked and leaked. Too often they had difficulty creating a good seal, primarily on the soda lime canister. The greatest frustration was expensive replacement & upgrade parts. I purchased my first Millennium Anesthesia Machine fourteen years ago. It was simple to use and follow the gas flow. It was sturdy, solid, and reliable. As my practice has grown I have found the need for a second anesthesia machine. There was only one Anesthesia machine I considered, another Millennium. This time I was able to choose the color. The service is impeccable. David Mahnken and Larry Laporte have always been helpful, kind and professional. They listen to their clients and are constantly thinking of ways to help make their machine even more user friendly and the best quality available.
